The cares of today, the fears of tomorrow, the thorns that grow up around us, sapping out resources - all these things can cause us to lose hope and wonder, "what is the point of this Christian walk?" But the truth of God's Word hasn't changed just as God Himself hasn't changed. He is standing right now before you, with a pitcher of cool clear refreshing water. Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; 6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.7 Let the wicked forsake his wayand the evil man his thoughts.Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him,and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord.9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Oh Lord, I am parched in the this dry land. I long to drink deeply of the crystal clear waters of your Holy Spirit, to be satisfied with your presence, to enjoy all you are today. Lord I do not have all the answers for my life, but I rest in the promises that your wisdom is so far beyond me. You are surprised by nothing and you will not be frustrated in your plans. I trust you today Lord, may I drink deeply and be refreshed. In Jesus Name, Amen.
